Materials and Methods. A 3 year-old boy presented in Gomoiu Recurrent respiratory papillomatosis papilloma, Department of Pediatrics, for high fever ENT interdisciplinary examination reveals the existence of a tumor in the upper pole of the left palatine tonsil.
The tratement was surgical, total removal of the tumors. During anesthesia difficult intubation because of the impossibility of viewing hole glottisthe surprise was the discovery of tumor extension to the entire supraglottic floor. After complete ablation of tumors under direct laryngoscopy, was found evidence of small, cauliflower-like tumors in the first tracheal rings. Histological examination of the resection specimen confirms the diagnosis of papillomatosis.
